David Moncur Engineering provides professional engineering services, in all disciplines, to industry in the form of risk analysis, compliance to applicable Legislation, Codes, and Standards. David Moncur can work with your design team from initial concept through to the installation to ensure that workers are kept away from machine hazards.
The Pre-Start Health and Safety Review is not limited to equipment in Ontario. David Moncur has traveled throughout all of North America, Europe, and Asia to assist firms in developing practical solutions to worker safety issues.
Through his extensive background in machine issues, David Moncur applies a reasoned and practical approach to safety issues that will be effective and accepted by your production and maintenance teams.
Forensic Engineering
David Moncur has personally performed and/or overseen over 60,000 failures including performing over 1000 forensic engineering investigations into fire origin and cause issues, construction and manufacturing defects. He has been used as an expert witness in trials and as a sub-consultant to the Ministry of Labour in the past.
His extensive experience in equipment failure analysis makes him a valued partner when something goes wrong.
Maintenance Planning
Having grown up in the field of industrial maintenance and with his degree in Electrical Engineering, David Moncur can assist in the development of maintenance planning programmes for all sizes of business.
Not planning for maintenance is, essentially, planning for equipment failure.
Design Engineering
David Moncur Engineering will work with your contractors to ensure that proposed new electrical construction or renovations meet, or exceed, all applicable Codes, By-Laws, and Standards.
